Offers youth of Assam a globally competitive skill set through language + cultural training.
Aligns with India‑Japan cooperation: India and Japan have an agreement or understanding to facilitate large numbers of Indian youth working in Japan by 2030. Assam is aiming to tap into that.
Could increase remittances, raise incomes, uplift economically backward regions, and bring exposure & skills that can have spill‑overs in local industry.
